On October 9, Zeeland West High School assisted to host the West Michigan Regional Invitational. Eighteen teams attended the event. After twenty-four matches, alliances were picked for the elimination tournament.

Team 85, Team 2771 (Code Red Robotics from Grandville, MI), and Team 2054 (The Tech Vikes from Hopkins, MI) were eliminated during the quarter-final rounds.
